EIFF2008: Ray Harryhausen
The final "in person" event I attended was a delight, with the audience being treated to an interview with legendary effects pioneer Ray Harryhausen.
The interview took in his entire career and the odd aside too - being a Scot, I was particularly intrigued to hear of his contribution to Blantyre for a start.
A few guests popped up (including one of the original skeletons from the famous JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS scene) and much fun was had by all, particularly since the event ended up half an hour longer than it was supposed to be.
